THE HOUSE JAMS: Ferra
5. "Phase Me"
This was a very hard list to come up with. Each single showcases a different perspective of Ferra and her versatility in music. "Phase Me" displays her confidence and pride in her story. The lyrics exhibit her vulnerability and her willingness to not continue with a certain relationship in her life. The power in this song lies in her lyrics and it creates a very unforgiving track.
4. "Too Much to Ask"
It does not get any deeper than this. "My shadows dancing without you for the first time". This single by Ferra proves to everyone the lyrical genius she has become to be. The mellow piano in the background with Ferra's vocals creates a very saddening but relieving single to listen to. Sometimes you just have to let go, and Ferra did just that in this song.
3. "Snapped It Back"
Another song, a whole different Ferra. Her ability to switch up rhythm and display an uplifting and funky song is very impressive. "Snapped It Back" is Ferra reflecting on past relationships and how she gave it all for someone who gave less. The up-beat instrumental with the quick transitions in Ferra's voice creates a song that the House will definitely vibe to.
2. "House of Glass"
This is electronic dance music in its finest form. With the collaboration of Nic Dyron, "House of Glass" is the ultimate EDM song to dance to. The voice of Ferra fits perfectly with the instrumental created by Nic Dyron. The groovy melody with the continuous rise to the chorus really keeps you on the edge of your seat. This song showcases Ferra's passion for EDM music, and it is no surprise that she shines through it.
1. "End Up Here"
We felt like this song truly represented all the potential Ferra has an artist. "End Up Here" is a beautiful collaboration with artist, Anthony Deross, and paints a beautiful story about growing out of past relationships. It makes it even better that both their voices fit perfectly together. The uplifting melody with the constant background vocals truly creates a heavenly piece to listen to. Ferra plays her part perfectly in this story about moving on, growing, and letting go.
